EKAE IS OFFERING PRICE LATER CONTRACTS AGAIN THIS YEAR.  NO SERVICE FEES FROM DELIVERY THROUGH THE END OF DECEMBER 2024; SERVICE FEES ACCRUE DAILY BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2025 AT A DAILY RATE OF $0.00133/BU OR 4 CENTS/MONTH. PRICE LATER BUSHELS ARE PRICED BASIS EKAE POSTED CASH BID ON DATE OF PRICING.  PRICE LATER BUSHELS CANNOT BE APPLIED TO FORWARD CONTRACTS OR SOLD FOR LATER DELIVERY PRICES.  ALL PRICE LATER GRAIN MUST BE PRICED BY MARCH 31, 2025.   CONTACT THE GRAIN OFFICE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

GENERAL GRAIN POLICIES

(Subject To Change Without Notice)

  • All grain delivered to EKAE must be applied on contract or sold upon delivery. EKAE does not accept grain for storage. All grain title passes to EKAE at delivery.
  • All grain delivered to EKAE will be applied to customers’ oldest contract first, on a “first in, first out” basis.
  • Grain sold for delivery in deferred months must be delivered during the delivery period for which it was sold, and not before without prior approval from EKAE.
  • Moisture and grade discounts are calculated on a per bushel basis, and each load stands on its own.
  • Spot sales and contract overfills are priced at EKAE’s closing market price at day of unload.
  • Checks for grain are processed and mailed each Friday for grain delivered from the previous Thursday through Wednesday of the following week.

Grain receiving hours are subject to change during harvest; specific hours will be made available on a daily basis at the scale office.
